Opened 27 Jan 2020

Powys County Council is currently developing its vision for education in Powys.

Following engagement carried out in the autumn term with a number of stakeholders, including headteachers, governors, school staff, county councillors, Schools Service staff and town and community councils. Information about this work done to date is available on our Transforming Education webpage. Following the engagement, a document has been prepared which outlines the emerging vision for schools in Powys. The document is available at the following link:

The Council is keen to hear your views on this emerging vision. To let the Council know your views, we would be grateful if you could complete the questionnaire by Monday 24th February 2020.

Following the end of the engagement period, the vision document will be updated to take account of the feedback received. An updated version will be considered by the Council’s Cabinet in April 2020, alongside an implementation plan for the coming years.
