Closes 4 Dec 2020

Opened 13 Nov 2020

Powys County Council has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Mynd, Llanfihangel Nant Melan Common, RCL074.

The proposed works are: construction of a stone track along the route of Public Byway Open to All Traffic (BOAT) LM1268(A), for a length of 350 metres and a width of 3 metres at national grid reference SO 1808 5993.

The works are located on the BOAT LM1268(A), 1.5 kilometres north west of its junction with the A44, to the east of New Radnor village.  The surfacing works are to allow all path users to use the public right of way which is susceptible to surface damage in the winter months, and prevent damage to surrounding grazing land.

A copy of the application form, map and supporting information showing the proposed works is available below.
